Aboriginal Youth Safehouse- Urban Native Youth Association

The Aboriginal Youth Safehouse is a voluntary and short term residential program for youth of all backgrounds ages of 16-18. The program provides a supportive, non-judgmental setting for youth to work towards making positive change in their lives.  Supports provided include:

  • Your own room
  • Nutritious meals and snacks
  • Help finding housing, work, training, school programs, etc.
  • LIfe-skills, personal support, advocacy
  • Free clothing closet
  • Computer, telephone, TVs
  • Bus tickets to complete goals
  • Connection to Aboriginal culture
  • A safe, drug and alcohol free environment
